| According to Chicagohoops.com it appears that Mario Redmond has decided to enroll in a prep school in Iowa instead of coming to WIU this fall....Although he still does appear on WIU's mens basketball roster...

The school is suppose to help students who struggle at times academically! Probably a good place to go if Mario was questionable as a student. His letter of intent still binds him to a year at WIU. Maybe the kid from Chicago, 6'7" power forward will come next year too! We have depth at Redmond's spot! I do know that he was registered and had been assigned a dorm. Mo has very high standards and expectations regarding his players as student athletes. This probably is a good thing!
