Well bust my buttons! Right under my radar! Just goes to prove what the recruiting services know and report. It also said that WIU was heavy after the Lockport kid who is also quite a player! The plot thickens! And, this kid is a bonifide player!

| Extremely happy to see that Remy Roberts-Burnett has signed his LOI to play at Western next year...From everything Ive read and heard, it looks like he has the "potential" to be a big time player for WIU...

Take a look at the utube video! He can shoot, has some leaps, is quick, and has really good floor vision. He will replace Ceola when the time comes after next year. I know Mo has more to come!

I can't say that for certain, all I know is, Mo continues to amaze me when it comes to finding good talented, bright, God fearing young men. Kaimarr Price, now where in the world did he come from??? Well, Mo was out scouting in Arizona, where he was looking at Mael, and low and behold, here is a solid inside kid who can help fill the inside needs that Granstra vacated!!!!! I am also finding WIU listed as possible destinations for more really talented kids at different recruiting sites on line! Billy Wright is always out and about when it comes to recruiting for WIU. I saw him at the Sectional final at Nequa Valley last year. I still say that Coach Mo is just like a riverboat gambler who keeps his cards really tight to his vest and his six shooter on the table. The best is yet to come!!!

Oh, one last thing! Mario Redmond!? You were the first to announce his enrollment in a prep school. I have no idea why he actually did that but I am really wondering if he truly has a future at WIU??? ie. Does Mo still want him?? Guess we will find out sooner or later! I don't really think we are going to miss him in the near future or even in the long run! Just my opinion!

Yeah ive been seeing alot of WIU recruits popping up here and there...a couple of 2012 recruits too..I thought maybe you had someone locked in on your radar that you were certain was going to sign with WIU during this period...I was hoping lol!!! We all should be accustomed to it not being like that with Coach Mo...keeping his cards close to the vest is a good thing. Thats how we get the quality kids that others pass on or never find in the first place...I will never question Coach Mo and his staff on their recruiting prowess...
As for Mario Redmond...my source...I like to sound like a reporter lol..implied to me that it was an enrollment issue....i guess everyone can make their own assumption as to what that meant but I have a good idea...Id hate to say on whether Coach Mo would want him now...Im curious if we still have the "rights" to him since he did sign a LOI but then went to a prep school...im not sure how that works....If he is not back its just another scholarship to go hunting for more talent with...and Im confident we would find someone who fits the needs of this program.
