It's nice to see the roster looking a little fuller. I know a lot of these's juco guys are unproven at WIU/FCS, but they have college experience and bring some hope to the upcoming season.
The offense is looking pretty good.
We have a QB...from the looks of it talent at RB w/ returning FB's......a good WR corp with Lito standing out.
Our O-Line is looking better then last year, because they have experience and experience playing together. Plus, we added some juco help that could make an imediate impact.
TE's might be below average. Drew's a good blocker, but lacks the ball catching skills (hopefully he proves me wrong) and the young guy behind him is unproven.
Defensively.....well that's still a little suspect.
DE's are a little above average and they have plenty of experience (Demming could make an impact along with one of the Juco guys)....DT's are lacking, but at least Harris got some good PT last year and Juco Martinez was an All-American.
LB's are really good with Glazier and Krecmer. Garoppolo looked good at times, but Palermo just didn't seem to do much. I'm excited about Carleton....he doesn't look 6ft, but from his videos he looks like a hustling tackle machine (reminded me of watching Lee Russell).
Who know's about the secondary. We have guys that have WIU playing experience and a few others with Juco???????
Kicking.......can't be any worse then the last clown. We got spoiled with Lopez (at times), Langan, and Rowan.
Punting should be good.
Returning should be good with Speight, but wouldn't mind seeing someone else return kicks. He's quick and fast (great for punts), but seems to be taken down on first contact and a lot of arm tackles on kick returns.
I believe the outcome of the season will depend on the DL and DB's.
I have high hopes once again and can't wait for the season.

I am hoping for a 6-5 season. After last years showing 6-5 would be awesome.
As we can tell with recent events in the news....NCAA D-1 football is the real power player in all of NCAA mens sports. Hey MVFC ain't the BigTen or the SEC but this is a real tough brand of D-1 football in it's own right. There are no slouches in the MVFC. Even at the FCS level of D-1, football is grossly expensive. I don't think there is a school in the MVFC that turns a profit from their football program.
BIG TEN may have sold their souls to the devil, but it really is the BIG TEN Network and all the T.V. revenue that is keeping the money rolling in. Obviously Conferences like Missouri Valley Football are at a disadvantage when it comes to revenue streams.
