| Beats St. Louis U 4-3 today. Record now 3-1. Considering the circumstances, Villano has done an unbelievable job already.

I knew when he was hired things would improve. It was a good hire and I will not complain about TVA or anyone else for bringing him in. Keeping Bainter on staff likely helped with the emotional stability and programs credibility with players (families included).
The teams seems to be able to hit well. Consistant defense and not walking batters will lead this team to success. Keep crushing fellas .
Hopefully we can do something with facilities that allows for Western Hall to have turf put in for cold weather practice (would be helpful for softball, soccer, football, etc.). If this keeps up with baseball and softball WIU coaches may be getting picked off by bigger programs. We need to make investments that will lead to consistant contention for the Summit Championship. These coaches have set the right tone and they should be helped. Oral Roberts is really the only baseball school in the conference. I think SDSU won a DII softball title before the move up. Nobody else is really dominant that I am aware of.
WIU Athletes work hard to represent the University and Macomb. Regardless of any comment I make on a topic I want to affirm my support. Go Leathernecks....
Remember Athletics are a window for the public to view the entire University.

SUU is a pretty substantial baseball school, obviously Centenary is huge but they are leaving. Oakland has a very substantial program IMO.
ORU is obviously the big player here, They are not the only player.
