| They may be hung up on that part of the contract that states "when we fire you, we can fabricate a press release as to why you left." Or maybe the new guy learned what a disaster the department is and decided to coach flag football at the Y where his chances of winning would be much greater and his morals and integrity (assuming he has those) would remain intact.
