Way to go team. Congratulations on getting a conference road win!

Our men will re-group back on the court at Western Hall to face IPFW.

This upcoming game is very winnable for the 'Necks.

Look out Sioux Falls, I see a winning streak coming on.

As I type I am connecting with the positive Zen in the universe, I am in a yoga pose and burning incense.

Hey NFS71 if we can weather the unimaginable ('09 football march of shame) and still come out being 'Neck fans, that means we have passed the true test of commitment to our beloved school.

Your positive energy must have been contagious NFS71. Also, look at all the recent events we see in the news, if the worst I have it is rooting for a team thats on court/field success is marginal then I've got it pretty good.

I admire anyone who can sit in a yoga pose. I'd pull a hammy!! Congrats to Mo's squad for getting a needed road win. Let's hope the home court can provide more Mo-mentum...

My trusty crystal ball is only good for one week,
but here goes.

O Crystal Ball in front of me,
Tell us what the Leatherneck future shall be.

The Leathernecks welcome IPFW to Western Hall.
A whole lot of students appear to enjoy some ball.
The Necks look to step up in front of that crowd.
As the game unfolds, people are asking, How long
has it been since we've heard it this loud?
The Necks will control the paint and the boards.
Their perimeter shooters will be ripping the cords.
Time after time, those threes, they hit 'em
And the Dons go down wondering what bit 'em.

The matchup with Oakland is a "Food Fight" affair
With fans bringing food to show that they care.
The Grizzlies come in a very confident bunch
But the Necks will be prepared, I have a hunch.
This will be a physical game from the opening tip
And the lead will change hands at a rapid clip.
A late Neck surge will ultimately turn the tide
Putting the final score in favor of the home side.
A total team effort will be the star of this show
Leading to the upset win, their third in a row.

Compliments of the Poetic Prognosticator

PS Yes, I will be keeping my day job.

Still fond of Purple and Gold. Go 'Necks!

Well done SH74!

You have some poetic talent indeed.

I will not be at the IPFW but expect a win.

I most likley will be at the Oakland but would be surprised with a win in that one.

An outstanding post. An outstanding poem!!!!!! I am impressed by your poetic process. I would love to see a crowd close to 2,000 on Thursday and one that tops that on Saturday. I will be plugged in both nights!
