ORU coming in after a tough loss in a high-scoring affair with IUPUI. Look for Necks to throttle down that offense with some tough scrappy defense. If we stay hot like last game and pull off the W, this game will give the guys lots of confidence for remaining season. I will be watching on the net. Hope for a boisterous turnout from students and community.
Still fond of Purple and Gold. Go 'Necks!

Oral Roberts has become the biggest rival for WESTERN in all sports other than football. So these 2 games today will be big.
I am hoping for a repeat of the crowd's enthusiasm that was shown at the Thursday night game vs Centenary.
I am also hoping that the Pep Band will be back for this big basketball double-header. Classes for spring semester don't start until Tuesday, so I am not sure that the band will be back for today's games. We sure could use them!

We were in it for about 3/4 of the game. Not sure if the double T fired them up or we just ran out of gas. Got killed on the boards. They are a good team and we had to bring the A game to beat them. Unfortunately, we did not do enough things right down the stretch. Has anyone heard how Ceola Clark is doing?

712, what do you think makes Oral Bob the biggest rival for Western? Do you think it is the fact that ORU is a 20 hour round trip from Macomb, or do you think it is the fact that ORU almost always beats Western?
I wonder if one were to ask ORU students who their biggest rival was if they would say WIU?

Ceola was at the women's basketball game on Monday night. He seemed to be walking without any difficulty. But I have not heard an official report.
Valpo used to be WESTERN's big rival. But since they left the conference, I think that Oral Roberts now fills that void.

I agree Valpo, was WIU's main rival. Ever since Valpo left I feel as though WIU has no real rival.
We really need to get out of the Summit league.

Coach Molinari told the Macomb Journal that Ceola Clark has a badly sprained ankle. He implied that he would miss a few games.
So he might not be playing in our upcoming "west" trip to UMKC and Southern Utah.
