Listened to the game and we sounded good. The crowd sounded good. I know this was against a program that will be division III next year, but they had 2 more conference wins then we had at the time.

They still came out a little sluggish to start the second half like usual, but things picked up again. This could be the win we needed to get in the right direction. The right direction in pulling out wins and getting fans in the seats.

This team can play, but they still have to many negatives. Once they get past a few of them they will be able to compete with the top teams in the conference.

We'll see if this same team shows up on Saturday. We'll also see if the fans show up.

It was a very loud crowd with large student groups behind each basket. And they made noise throughout the game. That gave WESTERN a true home-court advantage.

At the end of the game, the team went into both student sections and thanked them for their support.

Now we if we can just get some of those adults in the Reserved Sections to make some noise, just think of the home-court advantage that we would have at Western Hall.

Players made comments on the students showing up and cheering loud.. so I was glad to see that on both parts.

Any reason why the starters seemed to play most of the game in a blowout?

Coach did make the comment on his WIUS-FM Post-Game show that he had made a decision before the game to stick with an 8-man rotation for the Centenary game.

When asked if he had thought about putting some of the other guys in the game towards the end, he replied with a "No".

With the 3 point shot I am not going to qualify last nights victory as a blow out!!!! Tooooo much can happen at the end to justify playing a-lot of players. Even when I coached high school basketball my players knew that the top 8 would play until the end and then the rest might get a chance. Just the way it was. Once in awhile I might stick a question mark into a ball game with 4 of my top players just to see how they would do, but by now Mo knows his rotation and will go with that the rest of the year.
