Does anyone remember what happened to the top rated Fullback recruit Justin Robertson Western signed in 2006? There was a lot of hype on him, he was considered a Blue chipper. I thought I remember seeing him on the roster for one year. Did he transfer or get cut? This has bugged me for a while wondering what happened to him.

| He was sucked into the WIU sports information/TVA vortex. Haven't you ever noticed that we beat drums when people agree to come to WIU or or hired but when they leave, are kicked off, move up, or suffer from health related issues they just fall off the face of the earth. A simple, Joe Schmow transferred to another Illinois institution or Susie Snowflake was kicked off the team for violating a team rule would suffice. TVA has a CHOKE HOLD on the media here. Our local media is so weak or star struck they don't do any investigative reporting or question any of the pablum WIU spews. Never seen anything like it. Whatever happened to the "Fourth Estate"?

I have noticed that. It is really strange how the keep things so secret around there. I guess they have the drive by media there also, a real lack of investigating. It is nice we have this site to talk on issues because you sure don't get the hot press on the football website.

| WIU 93: It has been awhile so I "think" this is right but would not bet the farm on it. Justin showed up way out of shape - apparently, he thought HS shape was good enough. I then think he went on a Mormon mission which added to his delay and eventually he and the coaches just gave up. Your are right, he was a big-time recruit that never made it - we have had a lot of those!
