Here's what I've found....
Middletown senior DL Sam Current (6-2, 265) has orally committed to Western Illinois, according to Middletown coach Jason Krause. http://cincinnati.com/blogs/preps/tag/sam-current/
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound senior defensive end compiled 23.5 tackles and three sacks in nine games before an injury ended his season. His postseason awards included being named Division I Southwest District honorable mention and to the Greater Miami Conference first team. http://www.middletownjournal.com/middletown-sports/high-school-sports/middletown-s-gates-commits-current-gets-offer-507530.html?imw=Y
This is from Dec......Havana’s Kachanuk commits to WIU
Havana senior Sam Kachanuk, a recent first-team selection on The State Journal-Register All-Area Football Team, recently made an oral commitment to attend Western Illinois University and play football for the WIU Leathernecks.
Kachanuk, who’s listed at 6 foot 5 and 260 pounds, was named all-area at defensive tackle. But he was also an All-West Prairie Trail Conference Southeast Division selection as an offensive lineman — a position where Kachanuk said WIU recruited him. http://www.sj-r.com/prep/x1689182957/Prep-scoops-Basketball-No-stats-this-week

| That's what happens when you quit going to your classes...although I hear some scouts are intrigued with his size and foot speed. Another year in school definitely would not have hurt him though if he wasn't lazy about going to class.

Less than a day to go. I thought we might have more information or updates regarding commits or comments on the weekend visits.
I saw on Rocky Vision that Coach Hendrickson is expecting around 15-18 signees (not including the 3 that have transferred mid year). This is a nice sized class, considering that the team has had some very large classes in the past.
Any other thoughts or insight from anyone? How about a few of you that have "connections"?

Quincy Notre Dame's Quenton Keating, wide receiver, plans to walk on at Western Illinois.
"Here at Quincy Notre Dame, having only played two years, and coming in trying to show my ability I plan to do the same at Western," Keating said. "Hopefully they'll accept me, I feel like I'm good enough, I definitely feel like I have room to improve and I hope I can show my ability up there."
