| I know Leslie signed a 6'3" girl from Indy. I know Western news is usually hard to come by, but just wondering if anybody has heard anything?

Rachel Evans, a 6-foot-3 forward from Noblesville, Ind., will join the Fighting Leathernecks for the 2010-11 season.
MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois head women’s basketball coach Leslie Crane announced Thursday that Rachel Evans has signed a national letter of intent to play at Western next season.
“Rachel brings good size to our post position to continue our big presence in the paint,” said Crane. “She comes from two very good programs that have developed her post moves to the basket and she does a great job of pursuing the ball off the rim to rebound.”
The 6-foot-3 forward hails from Noblesville, Ind., where she was Westfield High School’s leading scoring (10.4 points per game) and rebounder (8.1 rebounds per game) during the 2008-09 campaign. She also blocked a team-high 32 shots and dished out 27 assists, leading her team to a 16-5 overall record and third-place finish in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.
“She has a good knowledge of the game that will allow her to transition quickly to the Division I level,” added Crane. “We are very excited to add Rachel to our Western family and watch her progression in Western Hall.”
Evans also played for the AAU Northside Indy Magic last summer, tallying 12.8 ppg and leading the team in rebounds as she pulled down 11.6 rpg. She also connected on 51.2 percent of her shots from the floor and blocked 47 shots throughout the summer.
Evans will replace current seniors Ashley Lord and Jordon O'Brien on next year’s roster.
Let's Go WESTERN!!

Victor Davis SR Galesburg 6'5 230 Forward- Can play inside and out shots it okay. Goes at the basket strong and makes plays. Hearing from a lot of smaller D1 schools in the Midwest. Will be a solid get for any program. Kind of me reminds me of Joey Range from the nineties.
Saw this on a recruiting website. I believe someone mentioned Davis once as a possible WIU recruit. Don;t know for sure if Mo is looking at him, but Western would definitely fit the bill described above.

Double-Double! Class Of 2010 Galesburg Star Victor Davis Of The Peoria Irish Is Putting Up Very Strong Numbers On The Hardwood
...In terms of recruiting, Davis is hearing from a steady stream of schools at varying levels. “I’ve visited Eastern Illinois, met with the coaches at WIU, Cal-Poly called me, and Army, Lewis, and Southwest Minnesota State have all shown lots of interest. I’ve also received interest from division three schools, mostly CCIW schools. Quincy University is still there as well," said Davis....
