I would say that the great rivalry you speak of still exists. Times are just tough! We spent the last two weeks really debating this subject basically because until the baseball coach was hired, we had little positive to talk about. I have always loved coming to Hanson for a football game. Its just surrounded by buildings and trees which in the fall have very definite colors. The east side looks great presently. But the west has not changed since you picked Hanson dirt out of your cleats. The plans for its refurbishing are really something to behold, but we just can't find that lead donor to get the ball rolling.
Thanks for your support! I really thing its too bad that a pass thrown between two defenders with .6 seconds to go has left UNI out of the FCS tournament. After the Iowa game I thought you were sure to run the table and win it all at the end. Funny how the "worm" can turn so fast!
Come back and visit us Capt'n! I think your comments regarding money has provided us all with a much needed "reality check!"
