I noticed Katy Clark in the crowd still supporting her former team mates. Good for her. I sure hope our staff finally recruit a point guard for next season or all that talent we have in the post will be wasted another year.

I would venture to guess.... A bad team went up against a well-balanced offensive and defensive team ranked in the top 25. The result was not much of a surprise from the media aspect in my opinion.

The answer to the title of this thread is quite apparent to me. WIU girls were over-matched, plain and simple. Dosn't matter if it's D-1 or the WNBA.

I tip my hat the ranked SDSU girls (excelent program year in year out) way to represent for the Summit.

I think Duke only scored 47 the other night. It happens.

exactly - they are a good team and we needed a perfect game to beat them and it didn't happen. we have a winnable game tonight that we need to win.

Was definitely a winnable game last night and we did lead by 2 at halftime 22-20, but lost 55 - 45. This year's team is very offensively challenged.

This team has been offensively challenged since Zane left. I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish. You think we'd be feeding the posts left and right (literally), but it doesn't appear that's the case. But I can't honestly tell you what our offensive priorities are. And that's not good....

And don't forget, we signed the Westerwinds coach to a long term contract this year.

Jacks have had offensively challenging nites, and when they do the turn up the defense. That's what happened to the Westerwinds in the 2nd half.

The interesting aspect of the game from a Jacks POV is that no one on Jacks scored double digits, and yet had a 20+ pt win.

That's pretty astounding stuff.
