Does anyone have any idea if we are going to have a Grossman/Orton type dual for the starting job, with Barr coming in as the favorite? Or, is Barr our starter going into the fall unless something drastic happens?
I'm curious considering Wells was our actual game 1 starter last season before an injury. I know they were going to rotate them, and I gotta say I hate that theory. I've never seen it work very effectively. You end up with two guys who don't fully know their role, not to mention they are entering/exiting games at less than ideal times, and it is hard to mentally prepare for that.
Having Herb is awesome, but to be able to throw in some versatility with our offensive scheme would make us pretty darn tough.

The incoming Freshman QB from Rochester who set all those passing records may enter into race also couldn't he ?

Gee, I *hope* it's not another Grossman/Orton situation. I actually want the Leatherneck offense to be good!
Am hoping either Barr or Wells steps it up. That way there would be some competition, but one of them would emerge and become *the* guy.
As for the transfer QB -- didn't I hear they converted him to another position? Either LB or S or something like that?
Either that or I just dreamed that part up or something..

| Keep your eye on Lunt (the frosh). He may add some excitement to the "two way race"

What Barr has got a deal on Wells? When? Is it at The Pace? Let me know.
Thanks
