I'm not going to speak for everyone but I think we have a QB problem. I know many might not like this idea because he has been in trouble a lot, but our O would be much better if WIU could bring in Ryan Perrilloux from LSU. WIth him and Herb, and that D WIU would be a very dangerous team.

come on. I've read enough nonsense on this page in the past couple months, but this is ridiculous.

This is downright laughable.

We don't need a known trouble-maker who couldn't comply with team rules.

Plus, I don't feel that we have a quarterback "problem".

Go Leathernecks !!

Go Westerwinds !!

I'd be open to the idea if I thought we would struggle, but since I'm pretty confident we are going to be pretty damn good, I'd go against it. If he couldn't stay out of trouble at a school like LSU that was contending for a National Title, there is no way he would act like a saint here.

While it may be a laughable idea, I remember the days when Coach P took some chances on some kids that had a history of getting in trouble. Will Peterson comes to mind who is now known as Will James in the NFL

Great skill-Bad attitude=Zero. One of the intangibles that I believe will make the 2008 team great, is the "Team Spirit". These are a bunch of great guys with great attitudes, that are working together to accomplish great things. There is not the past pettiness and ME-ism. Guys are responsible, and responsible for one another. The last thing we need is a distraction, like a Ryan, to turn the focus from the team to an individual. The sense of "We" on the team is amazing. A strong team is much more capable than strong individual stars!

Yes, but that can be offset by the acquisiton of the Campbell twins - who really let us down in the "Snow Bowl". They were "troubled kids".....and they stayed that way.
