Originally posted on the football fourm, I thought this woudl be a better place. Mods, feel free to delete the original post. I'm going to try to get together a list of rumors and what we know, feel free to add on:

Adam Coleman, Verbal as listed here and on ESPN. Looks like we really got a steal, ESPN puts his ranking at 74/100. I really like the fact that NIU and UNI were both after him:

Jordan Tassio, Verbal as listed on ESPN. As mentioned earlier. ESPN ranks him at 40/100:

Listed as interested on scout:

Kevin Lee, OG, 6'3", 285 lbs:

Matt Leper, LB, 6'2", 210 lbs:

Manny Juarez, (pretty much everyone in Illinois after him) S, 5'10", 175 lbs:
http://northernillinois.scout.com/a.z?s=352&p=8&c=1&nid=2966547

Chris Schweighardt (looks like a lot of ivy league interest here), WR, 5'11", 165 lbs:

Josh Hill, looks like we did give him an offer and has already visited Tulane. I would love for WIU to get this guy, just _looks_ like a great player, CB/S, 6'0", 190 lbs:

Bobby Earnest, S, 5'10", 178 lbs:

Who do you like best? Is there anyone else out there reporting interest?

Adam Coleman decommitted to WIU... Here is a little blub from the story on Rivals. Oh well:

Bettendorf defensive lineman Adam Coleman ended the recruiting process early when he committed to Western Illinois. But after taking his official visit there recently, this senior seems to have had a change of heart.

"I decommitted to Western Illinois. I am not interested in them anymore. I went on my official visit there and I just couldn't see myself going there. It was nothing against their coaches or players. I just didn't feel as comfortable as I thought I did."

When Coleman told the coaches of his decision, it was a big relief to him.

"I feel like I have a monkey off of my back now. When I called and told them, I felt better about everything. I didn't want to lead them on anymore because that was unfair to them."

Sounds like no loss to our program (re: Adam Coleman).

We need players who want to be part of the WESTERN program.

St. Lou,
I am surprised that you hadn't mentioned this kid, yet. Hails from the same school as Herb. Perfect situation coming in with Herb, Gibbs and Thomas being seniors in 08.
