We would always head to a house party first and then hit the square after 11pm. Boy do I miss those college days.

I'm not sure how many people will care about this (as only NINE people voted on this poll to begin with), but I think Parkside has shut down. Drove by there the other day and it looks like something new is remodeling inside. I couldn't tell if it was still to be a bar or something else.

As for the Parkside .. I think I read (unless I am dreaming this up completely) that someone bought it and it will reopen when/if they get a liquor license.
I used to like the Parkside. But recently they seemed to have cut hours and aren't even open on some days any longer. So we would mainly go to BWW to watch our sports.
I wonder if Buffalo's has taken away a lot of the Parkside business since they came to town.

A new steakhouse is going into the former Chandlers (former Macomb Dining Company). Perhaps they will be using the space that Parkside had. I'm not sure.
Buffalo Wild Wings has probably taken away most of Parkside's business. BWW has available parking which really helps them.
Poor management at Parkside has not helped them.

Apparently the Parkside has new owners and a new name.
One of the new owners is Todd Hamilton. I wonder if this is the same Todd Hamilton who is the professional golfer and comes from nearby Henderson County (Oquawka) ?????

The Macomb City Council will conduct a public hearing Monday on a liquor license application from the Sports Corner at 124 N. Randolph St.
Dan O’Neill and Todd Hamilton have purchased the bar and are seeking a restaurant liquor license with Sunday sales and extended hours.
