I saw a tweet from Beau Spencer about Monmouth-Roseville HS trying out their own version of the Taylor University (TU) Silent Night Game. That is one great annual tradition that uniquely identifies TU and shows how a little creativity goes a long way. Maybe we could come up with a similar annual game ritual as well.
I would really like to see WIU also have some sort of unique athletic ritual that is good for all sports and each contest. If we already have one, I don't know what it is. Our Fighting Leatherneck nickname is certainly unique and we could do a spin on it. For example, prior to kickoff or opening tip, all fans could be standing with arms raised and fists clenched. At the exact moment of kickoff or tip, everyone vocalizes a thunderous "OORAH!!!!" cheer. The "OORAH" battle cry is owned by the Marines (most service branches have one similar to it) and has much history behind it.
This is just of thought off the top of my head. You probably have even better ideas that could work and become a tradition as well.

Also, in the TU link above, check out the video of all the girls dancing to Justin Bieber's Little Drummer Boy. On the subject of power, how about the power of the Bieb to draw a few females to the game?

I like the idea of the "OORAH".
It would fit in perfectly with our Leatherneck heritage.

A Justin Bieber poster giveaway to first 500 fans might have them lined up hours ahead of time. A few Bieber-themed entertainment games would be icing on the cake.
I went to a game at George Mason a few weeks back. Brown University had a tall good looking kid, complete with flowing locks of long hair, named Josh Biber (it was pronounced Beeber by PA guy). Every time that poor kid touched the ball, he got some serious razz treatment by the fans. What a year he's going to have playing on the road. Ah, you can't beat fun at the ol' field house!

Catch, you're absolutely right. Title IX Compliance demands equal opportunity for all so I say we give people a choice of posters, Justin Bieber or Jennifer Aniston. Oldtimers like myself might even get in line for a Jane Fonda workout DVD.
