Now we get to see what our crop flood insurance is worth.

Our farm is about four miles north of where the levee first broke on the south side of Meyer right by the Dam.

http://www.wgem.com/

scroll over until you see the video of Myer.

Could have been worse, no family members were hurt.

RE: LeatherCy- are you ok?

Yeah, I saw that in the Courier yesterday. Our hearts and prayers go out to all suffering from this flood and associated issues.

RE: LeatherCy- are you ok?

Sorry for the delay in replying. On the road this week in MO. We missed the tornado in Parkersburg by 14 miles and by eight miles in New Hartford. Two weeks after the tornado NH gets flooded. Lots of friends were affected by both the tornado and floods. Three co-workers and 11 families from our church lost their homes.

At present I am keeping a close eye on 160 acres of crop land my brother and I own 1/2 mile from the Mississippi River north of Myer. We're keeping our fingers crossed the levees will hold. My brother called this afternoon to tell me a levee had burst and flooded Gulfport. I can think of three businesses in Gulfport that are flooded!!!

LeatherCy- are you ok?

Has the flooding affected you and your's?
