Last Sunday (5/6) Chicago Rush WR Reggie Gray set their franchise record for all-purpose TDs with 74 and tied the franchise record for receiving touchdowns at 70.

The Chicago Rush are now 4-0, being led offensively by a trio of Leathernecks.
QB Russ Michna is 85/130 on passes for 1116 yards and 26 TDs so far this season
RB JJ Payne leads the team in rushing with 24 attemps for 48 Yards and 2 TDs
WR Reggie Gray leads the team in receiving with 31 receptions for 425 yards and 15 TDs (48% of the time he catches the ball, it's a TD).
Gray also leads all of the AFL in scoring, accounting for 22.5 points per game.

Other Leathernecks around the AFL:
Iowa Barnstormers WR Marco Thomas has 334 yards and 3 TDs (receiving) and 34 yards and 1 TD (rushing), second on the team for both.
Spokane Shock DB Patrick Stoudamire has 16 total tackles and 6 assisted, second on the team.
Taylor Rowan, who was listed as the Kicker for the Pittsburgh Power, appears to have been let go (or not rehired following an odd strike/full-team-firing situation). I have not heard that he's ended up anywhere else at this point.

Just kinda half-watched (audio wasn't working, just had online video) tonight's Chicago Rush game against the Tampa Bay Storm where three Leathernecks were in action, all playing for the Rush:
QB Russ Michna passed for 247 yards, 8 TD and 1 INT
WR Reggie Gray caught 7 receptions for 80 yards and 4 TDs, and returned 2 kickoffs for an average of 12.5 per return
FB-LB JJ Payne rushed 6 times for 16 yards, and (if I'm reading the stats correctly) had 1 solo tackle.

Also currently playing in the Arena Football League:
Marco Thomas, WR, Iowa Barnstormers
Taylor Rowan, K, Pittsburgh Power
Patrick Stoudamire, DB, Spokane Shock

In the IFL (Indoor Football League):
Jason Baksas, OL, Chicago Slaughter
Dre Gibbs (listed as Romandre Gibbs), RB, Chicago Slaughter
Carl Sims, WR, Sioux Falls Storm (he plays his home games in the same arena as the Summit League championships)

That's awesome, I was thinking they probably would, since the only reason he didn't play as much last season was due to injury. They're one of the best QB-WR combos in the AFL.

Arena League News:

I didn't mention him the last post, since he's not actually listed on their current roster online, but it looks like Reggie Gray is still playing for the Chicago Rush (along with Michna), since they both had great games on Monday: MICHNA LEADS RUSH TO VICTORY AGAINST MUSTANGS
Michna had 240 yards passing with 7 TD
Gray had 98 yards receiving with 3 TD
The Rush play their next game 3/17 at home vs Philadelphia

Iowa Barnstormers (Patrick Stoudamire) play their first game 3/19 at Pittsburgh

Kansas City Command lost their first game to Dallas, J.J. Payne is listed on their roster, but either did not play, or didn't participate enough to be listed on the game stat sheet. They play their next game 3/18 at San Jose.

Spokane Shock lost their first game vs San Jose. Taylor Rowan went 6-6 on PAT's, averaged 47.4 yards on 5 kickoffs, and did not have any FG attempts. Their next game is 3/19 vs Cleveland.
