This year, the bridge between campus and married housing, has been closed due to high water conditions. With all of the rain and with no more place for the run off to go I can see Boyer getting soggy! Macomb High happens to be south of campus and is not in the LeMoyne River valley! That of course does not explain why the softball stadium is not wet, but maybe the run off from the football practice fields is a bit to blame. Don't mean to get scientific but the theory that it rains more on campus then at Macomb High just doesn't hold water...............

I am wearing my WIU tie tomorrow to school!!!!!!!!!

Mo later!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the dumb jokes!

Just got back from Peoria for a trip to my mother laws which we take once per month! Boy what a crappy day. Finally the sun is out up here.

Neckfan out!

RE: Field Conditions at Boyer Stadium

Yeah that is wierd 712. How can a high school baseball field have better drainage than WIU. The Bombers field is 'bout two miles south of Boyer Stadium maybe the rain clouds missed the field down there.

Field Conditions at Boyer Stadium

I just read that Sunday's Leatherneck Baseball double-header with IPFW has been moved to Macomb High School due to "adverse field conditions" at Boyer Stadium.

Don't we protect the field ???? Why would Macomb High's baseball field be in a better condition than WESTERN's ?????
