| Teerlink was an animal and is still coaching in the NFL. There was a punter, Peter Mueller??, who made it big in the CFL I think. Jerry Holloway from Rockford was a good one also. Mudra took four players with him to FL State, one was really good, WR I think but I can't remember his name. Hell I was a Freshman and that was a looooonnnggg time ago!

The "PIT" Prognosticator (5/5/2008)
NIU_Huskies (5/3/2008) As a Huskie fan i remember Frisman Jackson. He wanted to play QB but we wanted him to play WR. He transfers to WIU so he can play QB but still ends up being converted to WR.
Frisman actually got a shot at QB when Sam Clemons left the first game of the season with an injury in 2000 against Missouri. After a loss there, he went on to win all five games that he started. He had a cannon for an arm and I had heard that he could throw it 85 yards. Sometimes, he just didn't know where it was going. I'll never forget a run that he had against SIU. It looked like he was going down but he spun out of a tackle and ran for a 70 plus yard TD.
I knew he played some QB at WIU. Did those five games you talked about represent his entire career as a QB at WIU?
In the end, the NIU coaches had him pegged right. He had a nice career at WIU as a WR and then he played in the NFL as a WR.

| I think that was it for his QB career. He threw once or twice on trick plays, though. Cleveland tried it, a time or two with an INT once.

Well, being a UNI fan I can tell you my most hated WIU players of all time:
Tie between:
Jeff Hecklinski QB - Led a huge comeback against UNI.
Scifres P/K - I can still see that last second field goal of his bend just inside of the right upright of goal posts.
