So let me see, a very well attended press conference, a standing ovation when he is introduced, Peoria press coverage, the Molinarmy, defense, state and area ties, well educated, a proven winner.....has a much gray hair as I do and is just a bit younger , I think fellow Neck fans we are in for a wonderful ride. How many season tickets will be sold just because Mo is the coach. I bet he will walk the campus talking to kids about basketball attendance. He can recruit, he is connected up here and down there.......Guess I am genuinely excited.
Leathercy, you must be breathing easier now. Heard you were a bit apprehensive about the other choice. I think maybe TV just decided the other guy should get back on the plane!
I think all the players will stay! And just because Mo loves d (as do I) does not mean that the Necks will not score points. But I guess they probably will run an offense in order to do just that! Mo brings a presence with him. His comments showed experience, wisdom, and excitement.
The fog has lifted! Now not only am I excited about the football season, but also the basketball season.

Wow, Neckfan, The Molinarmy. I can't believe you brought that up Those antics sure do look silly looking back. (I have a Bradley comemerative DVD that has some sort of goofy Molinarmy "video"on it.)

Apprehensive wouldn't begin to describe my feelings when I heard they were leaning towards "Slick" Harper. My WAC donation may have gotten considerably smaller or it may have been gone all together if "Slick" would have been hired. How he EVER made it to the final two only Gary Johnson and Dwaine Roche will know.
I like MO even more now when I found out his roommate at IWU was former Quincy Blue Devil All Stater Bob Spear. I grew up with Bob. Our dads were good friends. I liked the John Wooden line from the Press Conference. "Basketball is a game where you have the largest ball, the smallest court and the crowd is the closest." I had never heard that line before.
How about the matching "Neck"ties TVA and MO had on???
