Two tough home losses now for our Westerwinds. Losing Gina Hugelier (Senior) certainly played a big part in the Winds loss on Monday to IP-Fort Wayne. Gina went down with a leg injury with 4 minutes to go in Saturday's loss to Oakland. No word on when she may be able to return.
The Winds are now tied for first place in the Summit with South Dakota State (7-2). Behind us is Oakland and IP-Fort Wayne (6-3). The Winds beat South Dakota State when the two teams played in Macomb. They will play again in Brookings, SD, on Feb 9th.
The Winds have two home games coming up:
Saturday, Feb 2nd vs (Southern Utah). Double-header game with the Men.
Monday, Feb 4th vs UMKC.
